WHY CHOOSE DED TECHNOLOGY?
Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technology is an AM process in which a heat source, such as a laser, is used to melt a metal powder. Parts are created by an overlay of weld beads.
DED technology is suitable for the manufacturing of large parts, repairs, addition of features, and low volume part fabrication.

PRINTING VOLUME
Printing capacity of 2 x 2 meters.

ROBOTIC ARM
Includes a robotic arm and 6 axes set for a larger printing range.

MULTIPLE MATERIAL SUPPORT
Can switch between powder and filament.

THERMAL INTERNAL CONTROL
Better control on the printing environment conditions.
Virtual Reality Platform
DED Technology includes an augmented virtual reality platform to monitor the printing process on real time.

Other Capabilities

Material Combination
With Armdust 2.0 you would be capable of combining several 3D Printing Metal like Aluminium, Stainless, Inconel & Titanium on your parts with exceptional mechanical properties using single wire, dual wire or wire and powder materials.
Repair Applications
Armdust is well suited and very capable when it comes to repair operations. Armdust repairs can be performed locally where needed to eliminate damage, wear, cracks, pitting, and any other situation where material needs to be added, replaced, or improved.
Bigger and Faster
Our Technology can produce high-quality materials and parts with low residual stresses and full density with significantly lower energy requirements than more conventional fusion-based processes. Not only is Armdust is capable of making large parts, it also makes them fast.
